Happiness is in the moment
Ever wondered how people manage to wake up on a daily basis and smile? How on earth with all that is going on they still manage to find a positive way? Well, wonder no more, these are people that know that the happiness is not a destination, happiness is a journey and is in the little things.

When life gives you lemons
Recently I was described as "the woman who doesn't stop smiling, whether it rains or snows" It's not the first time I've been told that, in fact, I hear it nearly every day. But I have to say I have never really let that sink in. I simply was "the woman who doesn't stop smiling" I accepted it and I lived by it, because truth is, that's who I am.
This led me to think 2 different things:

DIY....
Let me tell you the story of when I did some DIY magic.... I upcycled a coffee table (that I somehow managed to spoil by spilling an ink cartridge all over it.... how I did that is another story!)
Anyway, the point is that, as I was working my way through it, I started thinking how similar this was to what happens in our lives.

It's not who you are....
....that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not
I recently read this and it made me stop and think for a while.
Quite frequently the only thing stopping us from being who we want to be or do what we want to do is US - we have made ourselves believe that we can’t do or shouldn’t do things, but truth is we can and we should!

The dreadful commute
Lately, on my commute through the city, I have started to take my eyes off my book or phone and (dare!) to look up and around and I have realised how those people who I managed to make eye contact with for a split second (or the majority of them) were immediately intimidated, they looked around as if they've done something wrong; until I just smiled at them.... want to know the surprising thing? 90% of them relaxed and smiled back!
